Dr. Mohammad Nowsin Amin Sheikh
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Cybersecurity Laboratory, a center dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and capacity building in the field of modern cyber defense. In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, ensuring the security, resilience, and reliability of networked and cyber-physical infrastructures has become more critical than ever. Our laboratory is committed to addressing these challenges through cutting-edge research and collaborative innovation.
Our primary research domains include Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Attack Detection and Mitigation, Blockchain Technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). By integrating these interdisciplinary technologies, we aim to develop intelligent, adaptive, and secure frameworks capable of defending against sophisticated cyber threats while supporting the next generation of digital ecosystems.
At the Cybersecurity Lab, we focus on developing efficient security solutions for emerging technologies such as smart cities, IoT-enabled infrastructures, and digital transformation initiatives. We strongly believe that combining AI-driven analytics, blockchain-based trust mechanisms, and SDN-enabled network programmability can significantly enhance the detection, prevention, and mitigation of cyber attacks.
Our lab encourages collaboration among researchers, students, industry partners, and policymakers to foster knowledge sharing and real-world problem solving. We are committed to nurturing young researchers, promoting ethical cybersecurity practices, and contributing to national and global cybersecurity resilience.
I invite researchers, students, and industry professionals to collaborate with us in shaping a secure and trustworthy digital future.
